Priča prati profesora klavira Milana (Vojin Ćetković) 5 godina nakon što je njegov kum, nekadašnja pop zvezda Ranko Beli (Gordan Kičić), nestao pod nerazjašnjenim okolnostima. Milan odlučuje da razreši misteriju i konačno sazna šta se dogodilo sa Belim. Ne nalazeći podršku i razumevanje porodice i okoline, Milan razvija prijateljski odnos sa psom lutalicom.

The story follows piano professor Milan five years after his best friend, pop star Ranko White,disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Milan decides to solve the mystery and finally discovers whathappened to White. Failing to get support and understanding from his family and friends, Milan develops a friendship with a stray dog.

Od postanka sveta pa do dana današnjeg, svaki čovek se bar jednom upitao ima li života posle smrti. Postoji li neka nada da se još jednom pojavimo u ovom svetu i vidimo sve one koje smo voleli? Da li ćemo ovaj svet, možda, videti još jednom očima nekog drugog živog bića? I da li ćemo u tom nekom novom životu ispraviti greške učinjene za vreme ovog života? Filmska priča "Nije loše biti čovek" daje jedan od mogućih odgovora u vidu reinkarnacije koja je inače prisutna u religijama, verovanjima i običajima mnogih naroda. Neko će u ovu tragikomičnu priču poverovati, neko će je gledati sa osmehom, ali će svi sigurno sa pritajenom nadom očekivati da naš ovozemaljski kraj nije večiti kraj, da postoji neka nada za još jednim životom. Moj film je pokušaj odgovora na dva egzistencijalna pitanja. Prvo je: Ima li života posle smrti? i drugo: Ima li života pre smrti?

Since the dawn of time, every person has asked himself at least once about the existence of theafterlife. Is there any hope that we could find ourselves in this world once again and see everyone we loved?Are we, maybe, going to see this world one more time through the eyes of another living creature? And in thisother lifetime, are we going to correct the mistakes made in this one? The film Being Human Is Not So Badoffers one of the possible answers through reincarnation, a concept inherent to many nations’ religions, beliefs, and customs. Some will believe this tragicomic story, some willwatch it with a smile, but surely everyone will secretly hope that our earthly demise is not final and that thereis hope for another life. My film is an attempt to answer two existential questions: “Is there life after death?”and: “Is there life before death?”
